Warehouse Delivery Driver

  The Warehouse Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering packaged and bulk oil, cleaning and other supplies to company locations and a dedicated customer base. Safely operate a tractor/trailer or straight truck. This is a high touch transport and delivery position with loading/unloading, inspecting and securing customer deliveries.

Direct responsibilities include:

• Delivers packaged/bulk oil and products to company locations and customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• May assist with pulling orders, load, unload, prepare, inspect freight.
• Review and verify invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy.
• Establish and maintain outstanding customer relationships.
• Inspect delivery vehicle and ensure the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
• Contact customers to confirm delivery details.
• Responsible for packaging bulk oil in drums and pails as needed.
• Perform some general truck maintenance.
• Observe and adhere to safety and security procedures.
• Provide timely response to customer requests and needs.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Preferences: An individual must be able to perform or learn these essential duties satisfactorily. The list below is representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required and/or preferred.

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A/B CDL, Hazmat endorsements required and good driving record required.
• Ability to operate forklifts, manual pallet jacks and drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to write clearly, read and comprehend instructions.
• General truck maintenance experience helpful.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards required.
• Ability to work cohesively as a team.
• Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
